Hair Styles Up Easy

Hair Styles Up Easy

These are some of my favorite quick little styles out there. Both are super easy updos that anyone could style, plus I’m gonna show you a couple options depending if you have medium length hair or longer hair to style.

Plus adding a cute accessory like this sparkly headband makes it even better (I mean, glitter, am I right?). These are quick and easy hairstyle options for any day, but especially if you need something simple for an upcoming holiday party look.

Easy

For me, it’s easy to forget that with a shorter length I still have options with how I style my hair. For this one, I incorporated a cute headband and some simple braids into my go-to low bun style that I do a lot (like a lot!). Which is great for cute, yet casual, when you’re wanting to spruce up a simple style.

Most Flattering Half Up Hairstyle Tutorials To Rock Any Event

1. I started out adding some texture and wave to my hair, then placing my headband on so we don’t have to maneuver it over the braids later on.

2. Then I took a small triangle section on one side of my part, right in front of the headband to start creating a dutch braid. I was sure to leave out some hair by my face because I like some to frame my face once it’s all done!

3. Work the dutch braid until you pass over the top of the headband, then continue by adding hair from the other side of the headband. This will conceal and secure the headband in place under your style.

Half Up Half Down Hairstyles

5. Repeat steps 1-4 on the other side of the part, until you reach the back of the head, then combine the ends of each braid with an elastic.

6. Then I went back through and pancaked the loops of the braid to expand the shape of it and make it look fuller.

7. Lastly, I combined all the hair left out with the ends of the braids into a low bun using a ponytail holder, and then you’re set!

Easy Hairstyles For Short To Medium Length Hair

For this super easy updo, even if you have longer hair to work with, it won’t take you much time at all. I love this for a party style or something that’s dressed up, but still sort of casual. The perfect middle ground!

1. We started out with some loose waves throughout. I did these waves with a flat iron then lightly brushed through them.

2. Next, I put the headband on first, then section the hair down the middle in the back and secure with elastics into two ponytails. (We left out some hair around the front to frame her face.)

Easy Side Twist Hairstyle

4. Once you’ve done that with both sides, lightly twist one at a time, pinning into place as you go, loosely pulling it around the elastic.

5. Once you run out of length and have securely pinned the twist into place, I went back in and lightly pulled at the bun to give it a “perfectly-imperfect” feel, without being so tight.

6. I repeated those steps on the other ponytail, making sure they are balanced, but they don’t have to be exact. Sisters, not twins!

Easy Hairstyles To Keep You Cool All Summer Long

And there you go! Quick, easy and cute! What I love most about this is you could wear it as a quirky updo to a party, or a simpler version to go run errands or something (I’d still recommend the sparkly headband, just because sparkles).

This is also something you could do easily with one bun in the lower back, if you’re not ready to rock the double buns quite yet. Try it out! – ErinWith summer in full swing I wanted to share a round-up of some of my favorite summer hairstyles for these hot, busy (or lazy) days. Most of these styles are going to keep your hair up so that you are able to beat the heat, or they can be worn down but transition up if you need. All of these summer hairstyles are also quick and easy, which is a MUST for summer time.

This style takes me less than ten minutes to do from start to finish and you don’t need curly hair to start — it’s definitely a style you need to keep up your sleeve! You can find the tutorial here.

Gorgeous Formal Half Updos You'll Fall In Love With

I think it’s easiest to learn and understand the steps of the waterfall braid when you’re braiding it around your crown, going from the thinnest side to the heaviest side of your part. One way to finish off the side swept waterfall braid is to pull it into a low messy bun. You can make this a neater bun for a more formal hairstyle or add your favorite braid to the ends! You can find the tutorial here.

I’m absolutely in love with this hairstyle because I can chase my kids in it, cook, clean, do all that fun mom stuff, but then it transitions to a nice night out. It takes five minutes to throw up and it’s perfect for dirty unwashed hair. Which I love for a good summer hairstyle. Definitely give this hairstyle a try, it’s a lot easier to do than you would think! You can find the tutorial here.

I’m seriously in love with this hairstyle. It’s this super subtle braid that secures all the hair onto one shoulder. I think this hairstyle would be so gorgeous to wear for a wedding, a school dance, any kind of formal event really and then it’s also casual enough it can be worn to work or school or just wherever. It’s a super versatile hairstyle and takes less than ten minutes. You can find the tutorial here.

Hairstyle How To: Easy Braided Updo Tutorial

This summer hairstyle is super fast, easy, great on windy days or hot sunny days. I wore this summer hairstyle to Disneyland it was perfect! You can find the tutorial here.

This bun is ridiculously easy and it’s a little more polished than some of the others and can be done fast!!! I love it from the front and love how you can make it super big and fluffy! If you have really thick hair, this one would look so pretty on you! You can find the tutorial here.

These buns have been e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e lately. My technique is a lot different than most but I’ve found it’s the easiest way for me to get consistent looking buns. Messy buns work great but it’s hard for me to get symmetrical messy buns, which is important when the buns are on top of the head and right next to each other!! You can find the tutorial here.
